in the lull of this barren moment
a strangling feeling creeps in
i struggle to keep my composure
it arises waiting to overpower me
tear down that V-A-C-A-N-C-Y sign
and 'fill my emptiness' is my plea
i folded together a paper plane
to relieve me of being lonesome
it's flight brings me soaring free
while the wait for your return
is a task supremely daunting
it's left me to extreme exposure
so i pick up my chin to say
meet me yonder in turquoise dreams
your absence withold from 'We'
