Warm winds flowing through the night sky
As I lay in my bed and stare up and ponder
Let the wind blow through you long hair
Let it go as if you don’t care to know
Blowing softly as it blows near
Rustling in the trees and through the fence
You stood at my window as I lay to rest
An angel flew over like a rocket up there
Nighttime crickets chirping through and through
Seems to thicken the time as I lay
Laying down holding you close
Thinking out loud and the wind blows
Is there time to listen to my whisper?
Or shall we dance under the moonlight
Listen to the close call of my whisper
Lay here beside me down on the pillow
Tears begin to fall as I whisper the call
The wind still blow softly as ever
I may as you the true one question
I love you my darling and I never may leave
Hear my call as I whistle you to sleep
Lullaby softly as the cold rushes in
The spring and summer are over
My time has now to begin
Praying and saying I never shall leave
My angel darling I will never see the wind blow
