Every Sunday
You runaway
To another
Exciting (yeah right!) trek.
Amidst Trees
Bonfires, tents,
Mountain Peaks,
Rucksack and bikes.
Every Sunday
You anger me by
Choose me over your camping
Did you know-
I miss you awfully?
Between work
Studies and poetry
I attended a camp
And now, I am a champ
At making the figure of 8
Knot.
Every Sunday
From now on
I’ll runaway
With you
And I’ll tie up
You and me
With figure of 8 knot
You better complain (not!)
The trees
Bonfires, tents
Mountains peaks, rucksack
And bikes can wait….
…. for we’ll be tied up
Together
With a knot
called figure of 8
and enjoy our date!
Suddenly,
I don’t feel angered
At your frequent camping trips
Cause if I accompany you there
They turn into great escapes…
…And my heart’s clapping
For the invention of
Figure of 8!
