My mind can’t help but wander
My heart can’t help but hurt
Days blur into nightmares
I wait for your voice
The wait turns to eternity
Friends tell me to forget
But how do you forget love
How do you force a heart to heal
I can’t focus my mind long enough
All it can do is blur memories
Distractions come easy
Sleepless nights, nightmare filled days
I can’t continue like this
There has to be an end
One way or another it will end.
