When I grow up
I want to be, I want to be
I want to be an optician
Look into peoples eyes
Detect when they tell lies
I want to be an a technician
First break all things apart
Then repair all broken parts
I want to be a princess
I shall have not the type of distress
That is imposed upon a mistress!
I want to be a mathematician
Calculate the time a person turns up late
Calculate the amount of time I have to wait
I want to live life like a footballer
Rather than read like a scholar
Better to kick about to earn the dollar
I want to be an actress
So I will never have to earn less
Without the need to learn any form of gratefulness
I want to be a politician
Tell them what they want to hear
Introduce and Induce some fear then finally show some care
I want to be an accountant
You see money is important
It is easier than trading like a merchant
Or making money by being pregnant
I want to be a preacher
Instead of being a teacher
After all the former is usually richer
I want to be, I want to be
I want to be a doctor
For then I can score
With anyone I fancy who knocks on my door
