The day a word rang in my ears, shattering the visage, tormenting the veneer, gave the cold sneer a blow smashing its esteem.
I broke down clutching the fragments of my shattered soul, clutched my torment writhed in pain, swallowed my soul.
Yes! I cursed, I cursed with a hatred I knew not existed calling the forces to avenge a wrong.
I knew my curse was delivered with a primal force never knew existed.
My heart rejoiced, the pain lifted for I knew my force had struck somewhere
Sleep from agony came soon to a tormented heart. Little aware that lightning had struck.
I heard the pain of my tormentor, rejoicing my blow was delivered. To me it was God’s vengeance, I had sworn revenge sworn I would deliver it cold unsheathed by the façade of my humanity.
Suddenly a child suffered, I saw the pain, felt it’s angst saw innocence being molested, childhood being mutilated.
My heart knew the sword of my curse had gone deep, felt like a warrior having slain his own.
Knew a sin was committed, I ask God’s forgiveness for ripping innocence with the dagger of abhorrence.
I knew not that a toddler would suffer, yet my tormentor suffered, great though the suffering was
I felt like a plunderer crumbling the temples of belief in a quest of a false vengeance.
