Why you accuse me of the
Emptyness i am expiereincing
Why you tell me it's my fault
When YOU were the one who walked
Walked away and left me lying there
Lying there on the couch, a crumpled mess
Tears mixing with fate, and the man you would have me hate
Holds me closely now to comfort the pain you delivered
You told me you didn't know me, wanted nothing to do with me
Never again did you want to see me, speak to me, hold me
And now i am held by another, and you no longer my mother
And the one who holds me now, my loving and proud father
