Thrilling to the verbal landscape
of your Love,
I take tiny sips
of commas that dropp like raindrops
from your lips
while I disappear in-between and
behind your words,
trying to assess their genuineness.
And as I continue my leisurely stroll
along the meandering paths of your
verbal landscape,
I briefly stop at your question mark
to pause and ponder
at your Declaration of Love,
trying to measure the weight of it.
I meet your question with silence
quickly duck behind it,
but just as quickly change my mind.
I no longer want to hide.
