At any given moment
Your entire life can change
One second things are simple
Then suddenly so strange
You wake up, never happier
Then cry yourself to sleep
You smile while in public
But alone can only weep
Just one moment in time
Changed my entire life
That which once was wonderful
Is now a constant strife
I live each day now knowing
That it could be my last
Trying to stay positive
And not regret my past
But sometimes it gets tough
Knowing things just aren't the same
Hating all thats happened
And saying God's to blame
Who else could have the power
To hurt my heart so bad
By taking away the very spirit
Of the man that I called Dad
