a thousand secrets known to me.
so few mine own to prove.
but keep them hidden
in my heart;
mountains,
mine to move...
for no one's eyes
and no one's praise
this prescience comes to me.
so very rarely i disclose
what in my mind
i see.
but like a dream,
tormented by
or visions in the night;
they come unbidden
unto me,
my wakefulness, despite.
revealing to me things to come;
which knowledge, i despise.
tomorrow, never
thing unknown...
'twere better a surprise.
