Have you ever heard a dingo cry
The mournfull sound that blow on the wind
Chill you to the bone
The owl who stares at you from a tree
The stormbird that call for rain to come
To fill the billabong
Have you ever had a yowie
Rip your shirt clean of your back
After a long night on the rum
Well brother you are yet to live
You had better spend an Australian night
Deep in a Aussie bush
In the morning when the kookaburra laugh
The morning bush come alive
The insect cry, the bullant bite
The birds sing a special song
In perfect symphony around the billabong
The billy tea and damper
Fill an old bush hardened stomach
At last you know your home
Brother at last you know your home
