Forgive me that I wake
On this oh-so-holy day
To lead a normal life
As if it were the same
As yesterday
Gasp in horror, turn away
From my sin, from my face
Have nothing to do with me
Why should I care anyway?
I don't know you; just a day
Black are my nails
You hate them and are so frail
Too arrogant to realize
I have not failed
Can I Live?
