Once upon a dream,
I looked into your eyes.
It was their I saw true love,
one that cannot be disguised.
There was a warmth,
that touched my soul.
It reached me deep inside.
I carried it with me always,
I'll carry it until I die.
Once upon a dream,
I thought I heard you say...
I love you and I need you,
you're everything good in everyway.
You taught me how to love,
taught me how to laugh.
In that short and simple dream,
you completed the missing half.
Now awake I lay here thinking,
and I realize once again,
that what I thought was just a dream.
Was life with you my friend.
