Imagine him too wild and too loud 
to be contained in a room. 
 
Imagine his hair, long and tangled,  
too unruly for him to tame. 
 
Imagine his scent clinging to him;  
the scent of salt from 
sweat and tears of screaming teens. 
 
Imagine him dancing with every step. 
Imagine his shriek piercing the air. 
 
Give him an electric guitar. 
Give him a microphone. 
 
Imagine fans screaming, “play another, ” 
imagine groupies fighting for his room key. 
 
Imagine him playing, imagine a girl 
kissing his hands, imagining him in poems.
