Oh Foolish Heart!
Gelatinous mass of life
and tangled twine
Coursing blood like fire
through veins of silken shine
Blinded eyes exposed
a watery wishing well
Tears of salted brine
fill my parched pale
To quench such a thirst
one must be a fool
Dangling by a thread
of everlasting Hope...
