Perspective truth can often hurt the most,
'cause there is not much that you can do,
you can't give back the youth,
- - - Oh! , only if you could.
... ON THE OTHER HAND ...
Every Parent hopes to not survive their children,
no matter how screwed - up they are,
there is a certain satisfaction,
in knowing that they brought you this far,
... therefore there is hope!
Some don't get to tell their kids,
that their lives are all for naught,
or to stand beside those ungrateful people,
in every battle fought.
The lucky ones will slide away,
peaceful to the sleep,
while the ones they raised,
although never happy,
will realize... with age,
that is the way that it should be.
