The sky this evening seems to be bathed in onyx morosely
Rain intermittently falls echoing sorrowful tears of heart
Darkness overcoming, not a light seen in this sleepy town
An atmosphere of empathy is nature's way of comforting
A reminder that in all our lives, we encounter darkness
The sky tomorrow will certainly emanate radiant light
To dry all the rain soaked earth
Cast light on the sullen darkness
Bring forth a brighter day
A reminder to embrace my strength and love within
