The world is engulfed in the darkness of night
No one seems to see the light
What light shines through when darkness stands strong
And everyone simply plays along
Peer pressure takes over our speech each day
As if we’re spitting our sins away
Gossips and rumors unleashed without remorse
Everyone is swept off their intended course
Crimes of stealth, without a sound
Countless bodies dropp dead to the ground
Crying for help with their final breath
Stories left untold of a fateful death
The truth seeks refuge and hides away
Life is like a game to those who play
Everyone loses, no matter who tries
Our world if filled with nothing but lies
The deception of fate, nothing remains
Our current world will not stay the same
