A few little words
can break the spell of gloom
that over our heads
occasionally looms.
A few little words
can bring a smile
and laughter
that can be heard for miles.
A few little words
can cheer the lonely heart;
lift it from sorrows
that tear it apart.
A few little words
can change tears
into laughter
bringing forth smiles once more.
