Oh, you may pour your black heart
Into tainted, pretty verse
So exacting, do direct
That others may respect
What you've chosen to articulate
But should you fall
(or should you reach)
And find the only words
That can convey your mind today
Are filled with little stars
Then you may not!
You must hold your tonge
(For the webmaster will silence you)
F*** C*** B******* B****
Perhaps they're lazy
Perhaps they're cheap
But hey, aren't we all sometimes
And real life's not always sanitized
Maybe simply flagging poems
As 'adult' or as 'potentially offensive'
May be truer to our cause
of honest self expression
The best that we are able...
