Is everything prearranged and destined to be?
Does destiny have an upper hand…or is choice ours?
Are events in the future predicted with accuracy…
Ahead of scheduling…by the position of the stars
Relying on a forecast of predestined temperatures
Winds blow with freezing fate and impending gloom
In this land of prophecy… desolation is a matter of time…
Resigning to the fact that the world’s course is doomed
I, for one, am inspired by gentle breezes of love and hope
This rendition of optimism sets my heart afloat when I see
A script that allows for a future of fairness and respect…
The sanctity of human life and moral love results in decency
Please, do not wake me from my dreams of lasting peace
And proclaim that I am a daft unassuming imbecile
I’d rather breathe in the presence of wishful thinking
Than wallow in the depths of despair that inevitably kill
