All she feels is lost,
Scared of the world around her.
Asking questions is easy,
Hearing answers is harder.
She wants it all to stop,
The worries and regrets.
She’s told it’ll get better,
You really wanna bet?
She doesn’t no who to turn to,
Doesn’t know what to do.
She’s tried to fix this mess,
But fixing it takes two.
So she writes when she’s afraid,
Sometimes just to fill the time.
Though it’s hard to express her thoughts,
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme.
She hides and pretends,
And smiles when she should.
She just wants someone to cry to,
Then cry all day she would.
She’s angry, upset and hurting,
She just can't see an end;
To feeling like she’s all alone,
And smiles made of pretend.
