Frosty fingers intertwine
elaborate lace, peering eyes
and what is this I feel inside?
what darkness is amiss?
heart so pallid, moon so cold
stars extinguished-black as coal
and what is this I feel inside
what final frigid kiss?
numb in anguish, heart in dread
knowing all that's not yet said
fragile life hung by a thread
spinning, falling bliss
grasping, grabing, holding, dying
all that's good slowly dying
muffled, anguished quiet crying
all for one last heartless kiss
