I saw the sliver in your eye- - - - -
My soul reflected clear
There is no one perfect in this world
Much less the wraiths, so near;
The skeleton's in my closet oft' mock
In the background - a snakelike hiss
So much blood and gore - can't take much more
Long gone from Earthly bliss;
Opened up - i am - raw to the bone- - - - -
My marrow feels such pain
Hoping for a quick resolution to this disease
Before i am driven insane;
I've walked more than a mile in these shoes
I've cheated death more than twice
Lived through one nightmare after another
More than enough - should suffice;
Been victimized more than most- - - - -
Guess, i've been profiled an easy mark
I am so done with the negatives
Have nothing in common with the dark;
Worries, worries, worries weary me
A listless anemic soul
I've cried the tears of all my years
Believe me, it has taken it's toll;
