The mountain is more than a scene on the horizon
The mountain,
Is more than something for man to conquer?
It does more than fill up space,
It’s not just a barrier,
A stone wall or an obstacle,
To another place,
It’s not meant to be a mine of wealth,
Or a wall for some dam,
To harness power,
It has natural power,
It has natural wealth,
In it’s beauty,
In its spiritualism,
It has watched over time,
It has seen change,
Since the beginning of creation,
The mountain has always known gods presence,
Has felt the breath of the master himself,
Felt the foot steps of the Great Spirit upon,
The soft snow,
The carpet ignites in a soft glow,
Orange, red blended,
Yellow gold suspended,
Fills in the open space,
Between the mountain,
And a sparkling sky,
Crystals shimmer,
And pulsate,
In a velvet black sky,
Clear running water,
Trickles and builds,
Transforming into streams,
Then becoming rivers,
Torrential flow,
Thundering down out of the mountain,
Spectacular water falls,
Roar and cascade to the bottom of sheer cliffs,
Water foaming and turbulating,
Sending mist up into the atmosphere,
In a rain bow show,
The mountain is the mother,
The creator of rivers,
Life giver to all the land below,
The creator and the mountain,
Work together as one,
Harmonized,
In tune with our mother,
The earth,
The mountain is the creators alter,
That is where he prays,
The vision of the mountain.
