Look both ways before crossing her street
Because she cannot be seen if you seek her with your feet
She cannot be seen
But she is waiting to be found
It’s a long journey to her
And if you’ll run,
It will only seem like she is found.
She is kept alive
But not alive to eyes
She is alive for hope
She is hope’s only dream.
She is covered by thorns
And the thorns can only be seen
But when you look closely
You can see her light
And the glimmer of hope
Shines brightly on reality
Destiny can only be seen by people who want to see
The people who hike her mountain,
With blisters on their feet.
