this poem is about my aunty jeanny who passed away unexpectadly earlier this year.
you where there when i needed you
you where always my rock
when i heard that you had died
i was left in shock
when i was told that you where gone
i never thought my heart would mend
for you there was no chance of life left
you had discovered the end
i didnt know what to do
the only thing i could do was cry
why did you have to go
i still dont understand why
outside there is sunshine
but all i want is rain
it doesnt seem right
why cant it mimic my pain.
when the fone rang that night
i know you had lost you fight
i dont know how to keep going without you. i want you to come back and i still expect to see you walking round town
i miss you so much pretty lady.
