Though I swim with my pretty duckling sisters,
Who are so sweet in making handsome material life,
I know, that I am ugly, but not in spiritual life!
Though I am chased away by my own sisters,
Who think that I am unfit to live a merry life,
I know, my true family is not this, but heaven.
Though I am given shelter by a few charitable,
Who would certainly expect my egg in future,
I know, Soul is the only one who expects nothing!
Though I am driven away from place to place,
Just because I look ugly and not fruitful,
I know, I have an eternal sanctuary deep within.
Though I must pass through the bitter winter of seclusion,
One day I too will swim in the tranquil lake of immortality,
With my own swan sisters, since I am not an ugly duckling.
