Why are we drifting away
Like a dark cloud in the sky
Daydreams slip into the shadows
And no one knows why
Please hear my pleas
Don’t drive me to my knees
I gave you all that you need
So don’t make me bleed
Why is our love like a mirage
That keeps evaporating away
Disappearing into a mist
Slipping from my grasp in decay
Please no more heartaches and tears
No need to tests all my fears
It was not part of the plan
