Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Saturday announced ‘damadum mast qalandar’ after the month of Ramadan, saying that if economic justice is not provided, people look towards the army, Dunya News reported.
While talking exclusively to Dunya News show Kyun, Khan said that there’s no doubt that the democracy is under threat at this point, adding that the biggest threat to democracy is from the rigged election. He said that when people can’t find economic justice, they look towards the military.
He said that it is wrong to have final match before quarter final, adding that he wishes for neutral umpires overseeing the match.
He said the reason he fought this much for the free judiciary is because he wanted transparent elections.
Khan alleged that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) has a bad habit of playing with biased umpires – a ‘habit’ which he said he wants to eliminate.
He said that he has no hidden plans, so he doesn’t need secret meetings in London.
PTI chief said that he’s a politician and is open to meet other politicians if anyone comes to meet.
He said that the real democracy cannot come until transparent elections are held, adding that everything will be exposed if the disputed four constituencies are opened.
Khan said if anyone told him to recheck any four constituencies, he would be willing to do that instantly.
