Looking down the barrel of the sun
I bewilder as the sky begins to patch itself
with watermarks
... where your fingers touch like flower petals
meditating around my shoulder
brushing the nape of my neck...
And rain tears falling
paint vertically the smears
where rain trails, slipping towards gravity
in a parallel universe that bleeds
... our hands laced as ribbons
in fabric silked by allure
a hint of charm and a sprinkle of charisma...
Streaks of wonder illuminate
the only tissue breathing in the heart
lost in caution
... music seduces our feet in mirrors
pulled to gliding in voluptuary turns
tempting smiles from our eyes...
And I heard the faint whisper of the engine
sail towards the end of sunset...
when every moment you touch
blossoming in daisies behind you...
whispering life in the form of leaves
as I wait for them to fall
