To swim in an ocean of you
Surely I would drown with elation
As if the sun itself bowed down low
and kissed my lips
Scorching me with its rays
Dizzy from the light
Dizzy from the heat
Drunk off the reality of my love for you

Can you put a lid on a storm
Can you bottle up a volcano

To blind onesself to the colors of the spectrum

To damn a flood

Kissed by the sun
Swallowed by the sea
