I finally looked forward to tomorrow
I finally smiled
Even though I loved you

I guess it just wasn't the right time
I guess the moments were all wrong
I wasn't sure if I'd ever mend

I wasn't sure what I did or didn't do right

I finally rose to face the day
I finally went out to try again
