Setting yellow sun
lights sky-blue, ripple bay
elderly couples promenade
confide in foreign languages,
broods of kids straggle
with tail-wagging dogs,
cyclists weave
here and there
lovers embrace.
A nip in the air
clears foreshore folk
lost in thought loners
exercise restless minds
some give off 'airs'
pheromones of availability.
