I woke up, and your face wasn't there watching over me.
I woke up, and your arms weren't around me protecting me, keeping me safe.
I woke up, and couldn't feel your heart beat next to mine.
I woke up and the sun doesn't seem to shine without you here.
I woke up and my ears searched for your voice that usually said 'Hey, baby.'
I woke up and waited for you to gently push my hair aside and whisper 'Good morning beautiful.'
I woke up frowning, waiting for your smile.
I woke up waiting for your swwet kiss and embrace.
