Mighty oak grow ever tall
Look down on the world so small
Watching over birds that call
Offer forth the bugs that crawl

Give birds home where they belong
So we can listen to their song
Where young are taught the right from wrong
Mighty oak grow ever willing
Guard the fox now due for killing
Hounds around your trunk are milling
While farmers on their land are tilling

Protecting all the things you find
Build up thoughts within your mind
With all that’s special underlined
Mighty oak grow ever wise
No other tree can match your size
