As I am laying down, under this dark beautiful sky,
I remember you were with me
Promising us you would never say bye.
Unfortunately you did and I wasn't so sure,
That I could go on with my life
You weren't going to live that long anymore.
I didn't know what to do; I didn't know what to say,
All I did was sit there and cry
I didn't want god to take you away.
I had all these questions and thoughts running in my head,
You were too young to die.......
Why couldn’t it have been me instead?
After I realized what was said and done.
It was too late
You were already gone
You had already reached to heaven,
Without saying good bye,
And you left me in tears,
Under this dark beautiful sky.
