I look at myself and see
There's so much sadness in me
Writing is one of the few things that give me joy in this world
I think I'll be writing till I'm dead
Then when I'm dead I'll be found with a pen in hand and paper at my side
There's so much in my head
I'm just waiting for the tide...
to come and wash me out to sea
But until then, I'll write
I'll write everything there is in me
Till my head's light
And no longer heavy
...Waiting...
I sit on a levy
...Waiting...
All I do is wait and write
I want to be alone
And wait for the light
The light that brightly shone
