Oh, little girl of bitter tears,
You cry yourself to sleep, but nobody hears.
You scream out inside of you for someone to care,
But nobody's there.
You go unheard, unseen.
Does anybody even know where you've been? !
In search of something so dear,
You're dying here
Just trying to find someone who cares.
All you got were taunting stares
Until that one person came along
And those things you once did, so wrong
Began to fade,
Leaving, with you, a new future to be made.
Someone kind took you in.
Now you have the chance for a better life to begin.
So cry no more, little one.
You no longer need to run.
No need to stray afar.
You have help just where you are.
