An empty wall, bare and cold
With stains of blood, it was adorned
Faces appear, innocent and wrinkled
And all of them, line up in a row
Tired, lifeless and devoid of hope
Much less human, than you and I
They turn around to face their death
Merciless killing, or the path to heaven?
No tears or screams or signs of revolt
New found courage and strength unfolds
As each one stands, his head held high
Crumpled the next moment, a pile of clay
