I remember a time
when I would take a knife
to end my life
but that was back then
when I thought no one cared
I guess I was scared
but I remember the talk
as I starred into their eyes
and all I heard were cries
how could I think that they wouldn't hurt
I guess I was just thinking of me
and how I wanted to be free
away from the world
but I changed my way
it's all I have to say
in which I hope you do the same
cause more will grieve
and some will feel deceive
all because you took your life
you took their light
and now it's done,
and nothing will ever shine so bright.
