Walking through sapphire dreams
And creamy songs wavering,
The world has never been so peaceful,
The stillness so promising.
Just by looking to the gloomy sky,
I could see the future smiling back,
My generation so happy together,
My heart could fly forever.
The midnight archers on my roof,
Spat their arrows at the stars,
Work your magic, midnight witch,
Show me the path that I should pick.
Something lifts me from my feet,
Brought me into a deep jade sleep,
The blossoming of a new round moon,
Wounds the darkness of night, so tight.
Now I’m awake, staring into blank space,
Suddenly I see a meadow of shadows,
With black ravens spanning their wings,
A mountain spitting its lava, calling Great Kings.
I know the constellation high up there,
A sign for me to run and flee away, freeing myself,
Now my feet can’t stop running, jumping,
Panting and out of breath, I must not stop avoiding.
I raise my arm, point to the dark heavens,
A mantra of goodness slips from my lips,
‘Come Hurricane, fly here, lift me from this horrible land, ’
‘Bring me back to my home and bring this night to an end.’
