A plant is nourished
through fast expanding rootlings.
Woe of past poisons.

As they reach deeper
to covered up pollutants
they may just wither.

Tis wise to ponder
the wisdom of the ages,
life can be stunted.

Such brilliant beauty,
reflecting melancholy,
and yet so fragile.
