Oil candles,
Incense aroma in the air,
Lights turned off,
A lonely place to hide.
A family portrait in there,
Your picture framed on the walls,
Every feeling shared, in a little box,
And a golden chest full of love.
A pillow on the floor,
In front of your painted face,
Here I sit for long hours,
This is my sanctuary for you.
Here I hide everyday,
From reality’s face,
Here is where I come to heal,
The injuries left from your sweet torture.
