Where I won't need to show or fake a happy face
Or lie to myself every single day
Trying to be perfect in every way
Someday I won't need to hurt myself to be loved
I won't need to cry and wear a fake smile
I won't need to dry my tears every night
Waiting for someone to shed me some light
Someday I won't need to force myself to be happy
This time it'll be true and I'll smile gladly
I won't need someone else sympathy for long
I'll survive on my own and I'll be strong
Someday I won't need to tell myself it'll be okay
Cause this time it will really be
Someday I won't need anyone else but me
