The harsh light of day,
Wreaks havoc on my skin.
I can’t go out in it,
I’ll burn for sure.
The harsh light of day keeps us inside,
My brothers, sisters and I,
We need to roam and feel freedom,
But we can’t until the light goes out.
In the night we crawl and creep and feed,
We have fun killing all the people,
We drink from veins and love the screams,
If only we could do it all the time.
The light in the day makes it impossible for us,
But we do not dismay.
We know when the night comes around,
We’ll be free to play.
