Bodies lay dead and I know exactly what to expect
Grief, sorrow, pain, which emotion should I select
Never learned of nothing wiser, never chose another path
Though with my voice I warned them proudly, they must have looked at me and laughed
Let the lips of death kiss the rotting of deceit
Where their guardian angel will accept his defeat
No longer anything to lose, since all has already gone
And though they didn’t start it, all of them were wrong
No one cared about their family, no one cared how I would feel,
And now the lost that left a hole, will probably never heal
So now it seems that weather clouds over my day
And almost impossible that the sun will ever shine my way
Look at my innocent words drift away where their spirits may fly
As I place flowers on the grave where each body must lye.
