There is a letter in the words
of the message that I hear
There is a likeness, an agreement
'an I understand', as you share
A joining to, a finding me
a celebration that I feel
some how even though I don't know you
my experience must be real
because I feel it and you do too
it isn't imagined it is real
this really did happen to me
and when you say it I can feel
That there is a Letter in the words
of the message that I hear
there is an agreement, some comradery
something sounding clear
Someone understands
what I've been going through
this thing that has seemed real to me
now is must be true
someone is spelling it out for me
and calling it out by name
their must be some reality
this has not been a game
There is a letter in the words
of the message that I hear
and you have experienced some of it
my heart is drawing near
thank you for sharing it
you may have never known
that you just telling your story
has helped this girl to grow
