I'm sure I put it somewhere safe
And now it is not there
I've checked under the cushions
in the drawer and on the chair
I need to desperately find it
It's been weeks since I slept
there's a gaping whole inside of me
where it was secretly kept
I've checked in the lost and found
and made a call to the police
It's driving me completely crazy
until found there's no peace
I need to go out and find it
grab the keys, get the car
I never lose these precious things
it all seems so bizarre
How did I manage to lose it?
It was you right from the start
you snuck up and surprised me
then slowly stole my heart
