Just an empty box
That doesn’t have feelings
That doesn’t have memories
It is incomprehensible
That ever hit
And every blow
Would push me further away
Further down
Now you come and
Apologise
After you broke every promise
Every ounce of trust
And ripped my feelings to bit
Leaving me numb
Leaving me alone
With no real explanation
Besides ‘it was just fun’
Glad you liked the taste of cheap candy
But was it really worth
Everything?
